2025 Release Wave 1
The Microsoft Power Platform release plan for the 2025 release wave 1 announces the latest updates to customers as features are prepared for release. You can browse the release plan here online, view it in the Release planner, or download the document as a PDF file, which is updated with every publish. The plan for 2025 release wave 1 covers new features for Power Platform releasing from April 2025 through September 2025.

Fill forms faster with smart paste enabled in all Dynamics 365 model-driven apps
This feature makes it faster and easier for users to fill forms based on text content from any source. Users can copy the content, smart paste by selecting a button (or using the keyboard shortcut), and receive inline suggestions within the form based on the copied content.

Visualize the data in your view easily with Copilot
Simply select Visualize to let Copilot turn tabular data, along with all the filters, into a chart. Drill into the data by interacting with the chart, or the grid column filters, or both. Personalize the chart in-place by changing the chart type, using the AI-generated chart.

- Visualize with Copilot – a new capability that instantly transforms your business data into a meaningful interactive chart. Whether you’re tracking sales or driving customer service excellence or managing inventory, Visualize with Copilot can help you see the bigger picture instantly
- Code View is now GA. Key Features:
- Code View: Developers can view the code for each control, making it easier to understand the app’s functionality
- Copy and paste: The ability to copy any control within Studio as YAML + Power Fx code and paste it into a code editor for modifications.
- Sharing: Makers can use code snippets to share their work using Microsoft Teams, email or forums, facilitating collaboration and reuse.
- Enterprise-Grade Governance – 3 powerful new rules for Environment Groups, designed to give tenant administrators greater control over critical environment settings.
- Power Automate:
- View progressive logging for desktop flows – Logs will be sent to the cloud progressively, without waiting for the entire automation process to complete.
- Use certificate-based authentication in desktop flow connections – This feature enhances security by allowing the use of certificates stored in Azure Key Vault for connecting to Windows sessions on desktop flow machines
